چکیده
Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) or IEEE 802.11p/OCB (Out of the Context a Base-station) is widely considered to be primary technology for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication, and it aimed toward increasing safety users on road by sharing information between one another. The requirements DSRC are maintain real-time communication with low latency high reliability. In this paper, we investigate how can used improve stopping distance performance based fieldwork results. addition, assess impacts reduced reliability, in terms independent, dependent density-based consecutive packet losses. A model developed empirical measurements results depending distance, data rate, traveling speed. With model, shown that cooperative V2V communications effectively reduce reaction time increase stop highlight importance obtained further design V2V-based driving applications.

Cooperative Vehicle-to-Vehicle Active Safety Testing under Challenging Conditions
Cooperative vehicular communication systems are being developed to improve traffic safety and efficiency through the wireless exchange of information between vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure units. The future deployment of cooperative active safety applications requires their prior extensive testing due to their critical nature and strict quality of service requirements. Such te...
متن کاملLidar-based Vehicle Tracking for Stopping Distance Measurement at Intersections
The behavior of vehicles at intersections is complex, spatially distributed, and ever-changing, yet there are few tools to track vehicles through intersections. This is particularly true for intersections that lack overhead views for mounting cameras. This paper proposes the use of a Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) sensor to accurately track a vehicle as it passes through an intersection. T...

This article investigates the effects of using a thin-walled structure in the chassis front rails in the automotive industry. In frontal accidents, the front rails of the vehicle chassis, increases vehicle crash-worthiness and occupants’ safety by plastic deformation, energy absorption, increasing the crash duration and reducing the load and injuries to the occupants. The objective is to ...

Current Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Roadside communication based on IEEE 802.11 cannot guarantee a reliable dissemination of situational information which is required for Situation-Aware Driver Assistance Systems. By using a local Knowledge Base which manages the situational information, the drawbacks of the absence of congruous situational information for the hazard detection can be miti...
